Tiek.kz reports that the aircraft presented belongs to the eVTOL class — electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The technology is being developed as an environmentally friendly and high-speed alternative to conventional cars.
According to the stated technical specifications, the passenger drone can reach speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour in flight. Its maximum range on a single charge is also up to 200 kilometres, allowing it to operate not only within the city but also beyond its limits.
It is worth recalling that this is not the first launch of this type of transport in Kazakhstan. The country’s first demonstration flight of an electric eVTOL air taxi took place on May 19, 2026. The test was conducted at Kazakhstan’s first specialised vertiport, located in the city of Alatau.
