Rumors Not Confirmed: Father Personally Examined the Bodies

Immediately after arriving in the Emirates, Meiram Bokhanov, the victims’ father, went to the morgue. According to him, none of the horrific versions widely circulated online have been confirmed. He personally examined his daughters’ bodies and said there were no signs of stab wounds or brutal torture.

The father also rejected claims that the girls had supposedly become the “third or fourth wife” of some man. In addition, the involvement of the man whose photo against the background of the Kaaba is currently being widely circulated on social media has not been officially established.

“All the information appearing online is false. Do not believe anyone; they were not tortured. They say they were ‘stabbed,’ but I opened the bodies and examined them myself. How could they have been killed like that? We do not yet know the exact details, but they say it was a ‘cardiac arrest.’ No weapons were used. I saw all the documents,” the grieving Meiram Bokhanov said.

Suspect Detained — He Is a Citizen of Kazakhstan

The exact cause of the tragedy remains unclear: whether the cardiac arrest was caused by an unknown drug or whether the girls were strangled will have to be established by investigators.

According to information from the Emirati authorities, the suspect has already been detained. He is a citizen of Kazakhstan. If his guilt is proven, he could face the ultimate punishment — the death penalty — under the strict laws of the UAE.

Investigation and the Family’s Appeal

Many aspects of the case remain unresolved. Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its embassy, and the competent authorities of the UAE are taking all necessary measures to ensure a full and objective investigation of the criminal case.

The Bokhanov family, facing an enormous loss, has appealed to Kazakhstanis to stop spreading inappropriate rumors and gossip. The relatives ask people to wait for the official results of the investigation so that the truth can be established and the names of the deceased sisters are not tarnished by false speculation.
