Tashkent/Astana — Komil Sindarov, the grandfather of renowned Uzbekistani grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov, has officially confirmed the impending marriage of his grandson to the outstanding Kazakhstani chess player Bibisara Assaubayeva, Tiek.kz reports, citing the 1Bol! portal.

The news was shared by journalist Olimjon Usarov. According to Komil Sindarov, for the sake of Javokhir’s professional career, it is absolutely crucial that his life partner possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of the global chess sports world.

“The wedding will definitely take place. We have high hopes for this marriage. If we were to marry Javokhir to a girl who did not understand the chess world, it could become a source of problems,” Komil Sindarov shared candidly. “Right now, he spends 11 months of the year abroad at competitions. He needs someone to travel with him. For a person not interested in chess, this would be an enormous hardship. Therefore, this union suits us in every respect.”

The athlete’s grandfather also emphasized that Bibisara Assaubayeva’s Kazakhstani roots will serve to further strengthen the fraternal ties between the two neighboring nations.

To illustrate his point, he drew a historical parallel: when choosing brides, the descendants of Amir Timur traditionally attached paramount importance to establishing robust friendly and diplomatic relations with neighboring states.
