From Humanoids to Quadrupeds: Qazbot Technologies to Showcase “Embodied AI” at AI & Digital Bridge 2026

Astana — As artificial intelligence transitions from digital screens into the physical world, a new era of “embodied AI” is taking shape. Qazbot Technologies is set to unveil an impressive, diverse lineup of humanoid, industrial, and quadrupedal robots at the highly anticipated AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum in Astana from October 1 to 3, Tiek.kz reports.

A $200 Million Push for Domestic Robotics

Participation in the forum will allow Qazbot Technologies to showcase not just individual robotic models, but its sweeping vision for Kazakhstan’s industrial future.

In August 2026, construction began on Kazakhstan’s first-ever humanoid robot manufacturing plant in Astana. Spanning 15,000 square meters and creating over 150 specialized jobs, this production and technology complex will centralize localized manufacturing, proprietary R&D, software development, and AI engineering.

The site will also house the Qaz Data Factory—a critical infrastructure facility dedicated to collecting and processing the massive datasets required to train advanced robotic systems. Backed by an initial investment of approximately $200 million, the plant is projected to produce up to 5,000 robotic systems annually.

“It is essential for us not merely to bring ready-made technologies to Kazakhstan, but to build local expertise and a complete technological cycle here,” explained Vladislav Safarov, CEO of Qazbot Technologies. “We are consistently building our engineering team, developing software and AI, localizing manufacturing, and creating infrastructure. Our next objective is to further develop our own solutions and expand into international markets.”

The Strategic Edge: Partnering with AGIBOT

Qazbot’s rapid ascent is bolstered by its strategic technology partnership with AGIBOT PTE. LTD. Currently holding an estimated 47% share of the global humanoid robot shipment market, AGIBOT is a formidable player in the industry.

AGIBOT’s dominance was recently on display at the World Humanoid Robot Games 2026, where the company’s team secured an astounding 46 medals (18 gold, 16 silver, and 12 bronze), topping the overall standings. Xiong Jilin, Vice President of AGIBOT, will attend the forum to discuss the global trajectory of humanoid robotics and the rapid emergence of embodied AI as a standalone tech industry.

The Qazbot Roster: From Service to Heavy Industry

At the forum, visitors will witness firsthand how robots are evolving to handle everything from customer service to complex industrial logistics. The Qazbot showcase will feature:

  • Model A2 / A2 Ultra: A full-size humanoid designed for direct human interaction. It recognizes faces, identifies sound sources, holds localized conversations, and can autonomously navigate over long distances to guide visitors.

  • Model X2 / X2 Ultra: A highly maneuverable, compact humanoid that features a remarkably human-like gait. Capable of complex synchronized movements—including dancing—it can dynamically avoid obstacles and autonomously return to its charging dock.

  • Model G2: A heavy-duty industrial platform engineered for precision manipulation, object sorting, and heavy lifting within manufacturing plants and logistics warehouses.

  • Model C5: An autonomous professional cleaning robot designed for large-scale commercial spaces. It independently maps work areas, performs dry and wet cleaning, and utilizes a service station for automatic recharging and maintenance.

  • Model D1: A robust quadruped (robotic dog) built for uneven terrain and harsh industrial environments where wheeled platforms fail. It is ideal for facility monitoring and hazardous inspections.

About AI & Digital Bridge 2026

Serving as the centerpiece of Kazakhstan’s “AI Month,” the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum will be held at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre under the core theme: “Kazakhstan is the Eurasian AI Hub.”

Following a closed, invite-only session for government officials and international tech leaders on October 1, the forum will open its doors to ticket holders on October 2 and 3. The event will feature insights from prominent global headliners, including Balaji Srinivasan (Founder of The Network School), Yerzat Dulat (Co-Founder and CTO of Higgsfield AI), and Jamie Beaton (Co-Founder and CEO of Crimson Education).
