President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is in Bishkek at the personal invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, tiek.kz/ reports.
Meeting at the Highest Level
To participate in the 26th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states, as well as the expanded “SCO+” meeting, the President of Kazakhstan arrived at the capital’s Yrys Ordo Congress Hall.
At the venue of the major international event, the head of state was personally welcomed by Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov.
Busy Programme of the Visit
It should be noted that the President’s working visit to the neighbouring republic includes not only a political agenda but also important cultural events. On the eve of the visit, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the official opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.
